We have developed a
simple and cost effective display retrofit for the Stoll
flat bed knitting machines.
CMS 422, CMS 440, CMS420.
If
you have display failure then you have found the correct
website. We have worked with companies from around the
world and have perfected our retrofit kit which is more
than 50% cheaper than the OEM solution. Actually if you
had to add in shipping costs then Capetronics Inc's
solution is more than a 60% of a savings.
This is the controller that we retrofit
with our model
C640U32 kit. At this date there may be
other models that we can retro fit but at this time we
have done CMS 422 and
CMS 440. If Stoll used the same
controller for other flat bed machines then there is a
chance that we can retro fit more models.
There are no warranties or guaranties if
the customer decides to install the retrofit kit. The
price is the same. The customer has to ship in the
damaged controller so we can install the new display.

1/30/2008! Our Mold that we had designed
in late 2007 has already produced parts for us. Version
2.0 is lighter, lower profile, UL approved flame
retardant ABS for electrical use in black, houses a
Brand NEW modified EL display that is rated medical
grade-UL 544. There are the following EL displays:
Capetronics C640U31,C640U32, C640U34, C640U35 and soon
there will be the Capetronics C640U27.
Below is a video of our new and improved
retrofit display for the Stoll CMS. It has a fan which
means the original fan can be left off. This is a
test of the display before it leaves Capetronics Inc.
